Safeguarding in our Parish
Protecting, valuing and cherishing children and the vulnerable is at the heart of Christian faith and the Archdiocese of Brisbane has zero tolerance for all forms of abuse. This commitment to safeguarding all parishioners, particularly children and adults-at-risk, is implemented through the Archdiocese Office for Safeguarding Services, with grass roots assistance from Local Safeguarding Representatives in each parish.
The Local Safeguarding Representative at Jubilee Parish is Jennifer Cahill. Jennifer can be contacted at [email protected].
All clergy, staff and volunteers at Jubilee Parish are required to undertake the appropriate level of Safeguarding training every two years and to obtain a Blue Card if interacting with children and/or a Police Check if interacting with adults-at-risk.
We invite you to read the Archdiocese Safeguarding Policy for more information. brisbanecatholic.org.au/safeguarding/
