We have two pastoral associate in the Jubilee Parish. This is a part-time position within their other commitments. The Pastoral Associate’s role is to assist the parish priests in the organisation and delivery of the parish services through the coordination of a range of pastoral activities and programs. It is to network with parishioners, particularly in the Ashgrove and Bardon communities of Jubilee Parish. The role is to empower them as members of the local Church so that they live as disciples of Christ within the modern world. It is to support the Parish Priests and other Pastoral Staff in the conduct of the Church’s mission. The role is about networking and building relationships within the community.

LSR is responsible for making sure that the parish is aware of the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults; promoting safe practice including what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour; and both with and at times, independently of the Parish Priest assisting in the administration of the Archdiocesan Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy. When volunteers are appointed the Local Safeguarding Representative may also be responsible for arranging for training in best practice for dealing with situations where children and vulnerable adults are present and in what to do if they are concerned about a particular situation or person.

Each year hundreds of our young men and women receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Emma's ministry is to ensure that all our children and families receive adequate preparation to celebrate the Sacraments. Ian Luffman - Grounds and Maintenance
Our groundsman has the mammoth task of maintaining the grounds of the parish churches as well as various other buildings within the parish. He is also responsible for minor maintenance issues. Work days are Thursday and Fridays from 7am-3pm. |
