Easter is the major feast of the Christian calendar. An invitation to reflect You’re invited to prepare for Easter by joining with fellow Jubilee parishioners in reflection and discussion during Lent. Once a week for six weeks, groups of around 4-10 people will meet to reflect on the Gospel reading for the week and discuss how the themes in the readings relate to our own experiences. Everyone is welcome. More information about days and times of the groups in next week’s newsletter and here on the website. Lenten reflection groups You are invited to join fellow parishioners in a series of discussion groups to help prepare for Easter. Easter is the most significant feast of the year for Christians. It symbolises hope for all humanity and taking some time each week to reflect on the Gospels helps us to reconnect with the meaning of Easter and the basis of our faith. Discussions will be guided by the reflections and resources from the Diocese of Wollongong. Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be a liturgical expert and you don’t have to come every week. Just come. Please join us for around an hour at one of the following times : Mon 9.30am Milton (private home) Mon 10.00am Newmarket (private home) Mon 5.00pm Herston (St Joan of Arc) Wed 9.45am (after Mass) Bardon (St Mary Magdalene) Wed 7.00pm Bardon (private home) Thu 9.45am (after Mass) Ashgrove (St Finbarr’s) Sun 9am (before Mass) Red Hill (St Brigid’s) Sign-up sheets are available at all churches from this weekend.
