Reconciliation for Lent
Lent is a time for contemplation, examination of conscience and penance. The sacrament of Reconciliation is a way in which we return to the Father and experience God’s forgiveness. The parish offers the following opportunities for individual reconciliation:
Individual reconciliation offers penitents a one-to-one opportunity to meet with a priest, pray together, focus on a piece of scripture, acknowledge sings and be forgiven. Once you have celebrated with the priest, you are free to leave.
If it’s been a while since you have participated in Reconciliation, there are some reminders on the parish website of how to prepare and what to do before and after Reconciliation.
