Infant Baptism (0 to 3 years)
Infants are baptised at the request of their parents, usually in the first year of life and in their home parish.
At least one parent should be Catholic. Both parents have to agree to the baptism. One of the godparents must be a fully initiated Catholic and be 16 years of age or older.
Parents who live in the Parish are eligible to enrol in the preparation process. If you live outside the parish you need to contact your home parish.
Parents are to attend the compulsory Baptismal Preparation night at 7pm on the last Wednesday of each month.
Their infant will be welcomed by the parish at one of the weekend masses on the weekend of the first Sunday of the month.
This applies for infants up to 3 years old.
